Well, how can I put this.. The empirical scientific method lets you experience a tiny chunk of Infinity, of Reality: the part where you have the impression that the Universe works like clockwork.
My way of experiencing the Universe is to completely free up the methodology, let humans imagine experiments based on theories that are only self-contained in a logical way, test them, and understand that if it doesn't work, it's not because their theory isn't true (because nothing can be false, in reality, since all exists), but simply cannot be experienced in a sustainable/stable way.
It's the same as the process of evolution in biology. A chimera isn't less "true" than a stable biological species. It's just that a chimera cannot have a continuous stable experience, compared to a biological species which is stable. For instance, a human with hands for feet and feet for hands isn't impossible, but that "form" could not maintain a continuous and stable experience for very long.
