Very interesting and I subscribe to the conclusions of this theory, except for one thing: the level of consciousness.

It’s the absolute opposite. The MOST conscious elements of the Universe are it’s smallest parts, because they are 100% fully self-aware (knowing who they are) and thus behave 100% in accordance with that level of self-awareness. Thus atoms behave in predictable ways because they are 100% conscious of “what” they are, and behave accordingly. If they didn’t, then parts of your body would randomly disintegrate as atoms would suddenly decide to behave differently than they do. We are arguably the least conscious creatures or beings, as we are still trying to answer that age old question: who are we and why are we here. Animals don’t ask those questions, they simply fully embody what/who they are and behave accordingly.
