I started your series, and we are definitely on the same wave length.

I think in this world, there are only relative truths, but they are instrumental to their day and age. The old testament of an angry, punishing God was perfect in a time where people would rape and kill on a whim, science and rationality was perfect at a time when humans mastered most of their primitive impulses and needed to “evolve” technologically, and now, a spiritual awakening is perfect at a time when we have reached a hard wall in terms of scientific understanding of our Universe and where we are about to self-destruct via pollution, climate change, depletion of resources etc. The whole thing is absolutely perfect.
