Nice! And also a topic which I have addressed.

If you have an infinite possible futures from any present moment, then you still have “free will”: the free will to get to experience one specific one rather than all the rest.

The way I see it, the fact that time advances in only one direction from our perspective is simply the natural process of training an otherwise infinite consciousness to navigate inside infinity. If you are infinite and aware of infinite potentials at every single point in time, then you go nowhere, you’re lost. But by gradually opening up your level of awareness to match infinity, you can explore infinity in a gradual/logical way. For instance, the theory of relativity from Einstein will allow us to “explore” time/space in a completely new way compared to a newtonian science perspective. And an understanding of quantum mechanics will also have deep implications on how we will explore infinity. This is all part of a normal process. Linear time represents the same thing as training wheels on the side of a bike to allow a child to learn to ride the bike before taking them off. By having experienced linear time, it allows us to gradually grow into being able to transcend it, but only because we have grown and matured enough to transcend it responsibly and not “ride the bike over a cliff”… :-)

If you want to expand your understanding of time as a continuous experience, you may want to watch my video series I started in explaining how the Universe works from a more “metaphysical” perspective: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmSaW7czVU7AnpNNceQ4j1A
