I can respect that.
Again, I will present my point of view as the following: EVERYTHING is true. The question is: where do we want to go from here? What do we want? What do you want? For yourself? For your loved ones? And your “beliefs” will directly influence what you experience.
Here is something to keep in mind:
Is the Earth flat? Of course not! But at the time when all of humanity believed it was, people were acting as if it were true, which means that whether it were true or not made no difference, the effects were the same as if it were true. Namely: people didn’t navigate too far from the coastline for fear of falling over the edge of the world. So in order to sail to America, you first needed sailors that overcame the belief of flat Earth and had the courage to experiment directly their new found beliefs, in order to change their “reality” (the fact that America, as a continent did not “exist” from their point of view).
I am someone who tries to make sense of it all, to try to understand how you can reconcile the most contradictory or opposing points of view without trying to say that one or the other is “right” or “wrong”. If you are interested in my point of view on all of this, how both creationism and evolution can be “true” without there being any “incompatibility” between them, then you can read this little piece:
