Hi! Thanks for this article. I indeed see your point, and comparison with a fiber optic cable. Indeed, this entire reality can be viewed as just a huge "play of light", humans are living light. I have a bit of a different understanding of what it means to be enlightened. To me, it is about recognizing that so long as you are in "experience", you are in illusion. But that the illusion is totally OK. God, universal consciousness, is everything and nothing all at once, zero and infinity, bound together forever. Experience is the separation of zero and infinity, and the process of experiencing what is in between. Therefore, so long as you are not fully aware or conscious of everything there ever was, is and will be right now, you are and will be in experience and therefore in "illusion", since in existence, there isn't anything else besides nothing and everything (which are one and the same). However, what you describe, to me, sounds like experiencing what it FEELS like to be in that state of being, not necessarily have the knowledge or awareness that comes with it, simply because no human mind could hold infinity within it. But we can still connect to this source to feel what it's like, to be in peace, in unconditional love. I am certainly not there yet, but again, I don't view this as a problem. Ultimately, it's still an experience, just like any other. Some experiences might be beneficial to some, while they can be detrimental to others. One can get lost in such an unconditional love if they are not ready to receive it. I had a dream once, where Jesus looked at me, and I felt such an intense joy, that it was painful, because I did not love myself enough to believe I deserved it, and woke up. What it means to be enlightened, in my mind, is to create harmony in your outer reality. Because ultimately, if everything is just light, then there is simply a way to put all of what exists around you in an order which is harmonious. And we do this naturally. We put the professional music player on stage, and the beginner musician in a rehearsal classroom, not the opposite. We just need to extend this logic to everything else around us, so that infinity can exist in harmony with itself. That is what I try to do in my life, now. To see how I can create more harmony around me.
