Very interesting reflections, which have nearly metaphysical implications.
If you posit that there are an infinite number of parallel realities, this means that there already exist an infinite number of possible futures from THIS present moment into infinity. Thus “God” could simply represent whatever form humanity takes in one million years which already exists, just like we could be seen as “Gods” from the perspective of a chimpanzee barely discovering how to manipulate fire a million years ago.
What I find is a shortcoming of this article, is the notion that space has a certain “size”. If you think of infinity, you can store the same amount of information regardless of how small, all you need to do is downscale it to infinity. Thus our experience of space can just be a holographic “projection” from a “source” of information which is infinitely small. Of course, in our reality, we have the planck constants, but these are valid for THIS reality. It is like trying to figure out the smallest “pixel” of reality from INSIDE a video game when the information about the video game is stored on a medium which has no relationship with the experience inside the game.
You may think I’m headed down the road of the Nick Bostrom’s simulation theory, but that is not so. I subscribe to the more “radical” interpretation of quantum mechanics: that all that exists is pure energy/potential and that it is the observer, by whichever level of understanding/consciousness that observer has reached, which gives a specific form to that pure energy/potential.
I’ll risk sharing this link with you, which you may find completely crazy, but just watch it as you would watch a science fiction movie, and see if you can connect the “dots” with what you have written above:
