I think we are ill suited to understand what the “rapture” really is. In my view, the rapture is an event we have all experienced: our own birth, where we transition from one “dimension”, one “state”, one “world” into another. If you could put yourself in the shoes of the cells inside a baby, how would you experience birth? As a cell of a 9 month old baby, the womb is your entire world. There is nothing outside. Then suddenly, you undergo a very painful and traumatic process, where many of your “fellow” cells dies, and you find yourself in a new world where your “Father/Mother/God” welcomes you with love.
